The "GenZ4GD" project, which aims to raise awareness about environmental protection, reached a crucial phase with its final transnational meeting held in Zagreb, Croatia on October 5, 2023. The meeting, organized by the project partner Parents' Association "Step by Step" ("Korak po korak"), served as a platform for project partners to discuss reporting processes, project closure steps and issues related to intellectual property rights and sustainability.
During the meeting, partner organizations achieved several key objectives:
- Reporting and closure: Partners reached an agreement on the necessary steps for reporting and closing the project, ensuring a smooth transition to the next phase.
- Intellectual property rights: An agreement on intellectual property rights was signed to protect innovative ideas and creations developed during the project.
- Sustainability: A joint document was signed outlining strategies and commitments for the sustainability of the project even after its closure.
Partners, including project coordinators and members of the board from each organization, collaborated to ensure the successful execution of the "GenZ4GD" project.
About the "GenZ4GD" project:
"GenZ4GD" is an Erasmus+ project in which LINKgroup is also a partner. The main goal of the project is to develop training programs and build the capacities of young individuals, empowering them to actively engage in the development of their local communities and environmental protection while gaining a deeper understanding of sustainable development principles and environmental conservation. Furthermore, the project equips young participants with the skills needed to advocate for positive changes they believe in, contributing to the development and sustainability of their communities with the support of non-governmental organizations, schools and local communities.
The transnational meeting in Zagreb marked a significant milestone for the "GenZ4GD" project, symbolizing a commitment to environmental awareness and community development. As the project progresses, it is set to leave a lasting impact on the involved young individuals, empowering them to make positive changes in their communities and work towards a greener and more sustainable future.
