Mensa Serbia held training for LINK edu Alliance teachers

Are you sure that you will be able recognize a gifted student in your class? Although the answer to this question is seemingly simple, there are many prejudices and misconceptions present in the public regarding gifted children. This is exactly what was discussed at the training "Introduction to the Acquisition of Competences for Working with Gifted Children" held by the members of Mensa Serbia for the teaching staff of the LINK edu Alliance. The teachers who attended the training learned how giftedness is defined, what are the characteristics of gifted students and how they behave, what problems they face, and what are their needs, and they received much advice on how to support such students.

We hope that by working together, we will enable as many gifted students as possible to reach their full potential during their education.
