ITS among Serbia’s 20 fastest-growing companies

One of LINK group’s oldest educational institutions, Information Technology School – ITS, has ranked among the 20 fastest-growing companies in Serbia. For the first time, a company from the sphere of education has ranked among the top 20 – all the more reason to view this as an important achievement and a great acknowledgment.

The “gazelle” concept refers to companies with the most dynamic growth, that give the greatest contribution to employment, the opening of new positions, and total GDP. The candidates for the Serbian Gazelles were companies with long-term business strategies (ones whose last 5 years were marked by constant growth and development).

The methodology of selection of the “Golden Gazelle” was established by the American researcher David Birch, based on 15 years of experience. Its quality is also proven by the fact that 87% of the nominated companies that received the award still do great business, while 58,7% have excellent credit scores. The first list of 500 fastest-growing companies in Serbia was made in October 2016, based on Business Registers Agency’s data and Bisnode group’s methodology; the shortlisted companies were further assessed by the Gazelle committee, which selected the best companies, including ITS.

This is a great acknowledgment of ITS’s and LINK group’s comprehensive effort to advance the sphere of education and create a quality educational institution; one that can compete internationally, as well. ITS students’ success rate, which exceeds 83%, and the acknowledgment based on relevant expert research, show that ITS is the right choice for all who see their future in the IT realm.
